Party Planners Mary Ann O'Dea and Evelyn Uribe put together a great 'meet-your-neighbor' wine and cheese party with social chairman Barbarah Brown. With only about 25 RSVPs almost 40 people attended and had a wonderful time. We've confirmed that no one got arrested for a DUI on the way home from the party.

The Canopy Walk Social Committee strikes again, with a super Super Bowl party. Shown guarding a pool table covered with good eats is the social committee from left to right with Lola Staubs (in the wheel chair), Lynn Uribe, JoAnne Faitoute, Peggy Robertson, and chairperson Barbarah Brown. Nobody left hungry, but Robert Magnus faired the best by walking away with $300 as the big winner of the football pool run by Mrs. Uribe.

The area north of the gazebo was dredged and pilings installed June 2007 to provide two wet slips for temporary boat use by slip owners when boarding passengers, repairing lifts, boat maintenance, etc.
